We are excited to announce the upcoming Whisky Ottawa Event on September 29th & 30th, 2023 and as volunteers are the backbone of any festival or event, we are looking for your interest to join us!

Whisky Ottawa, scheduled to take place at the Shaw Center, downtown Ottawa, is a celebration of whisky that brings together enthusiasts, professionals and newcomers alike. With a focus on promoting whisky education and appreciation, we are eager to engage dedicated individuals like you, who aspire to broaden their knowledge and skills as sommelier and hospitality students.

Knowledgeable Consumption, the corporate, not-for-profit organization behind the annual Whisky Ottawa (WO) event, is bringing this popular educational opportunity.

As a volunteer, you will be asked to contribute to various event tasks, such as;

• Connect with our Whisky Ottawa Marketing team and share your strategies and ideas to promote the event
• Assisting with pouring and attend whisky tasting sessions
• Assist in guiding participants through different whisky profiles
• Support event set up and organization, including exhibitor assistance and logistics coordination
• Assist with admission and attendee management
• Provide general support, such as answering inquiries, distributing event materials, and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees

Not only will you gain practical experience in the whisky field, but you will have the chance to develop new connections and learn from industry experts.
