2024 Happy New Year,

We hope this message finds you in good spirits and ready for another exciting year. The 2023 Whiskey Ottawa event was a memorable evening held at the Shaw Center, but as the saying goes, change is the only constant. So, for 2024, we're once again on the move, exploring new possibilities.

We're considering a return to the Canadian War Museum or perhaps another fantastic venue right here in Ottawa. Rest assured, wherever we end up, it will be an exceptional setting for our whiskey enthusiasts.

First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who joined us for the ninth edition of Whisky Ottawa at the Shaw Centre. Your support means the world to us, especially in these challenging times. We're deeply grateful and hope to see even more of you in 2024. While we're still not back to our full pre-COVID attendance, every familiar face brightens up our event.

As we gear up for our monumental 10th edition of Whisky Ottawa, we have some exciting plans in store. Expect more master distillers, a wider range of international whiskey brands not yet available in Ontario, and Masterclasses that will pique the interest of both seasoned whiskey connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

So, whether you're a whiskey novice or a seasoned aficionado, mark your calendars for Whisky Ottawa 2024. We can't wait to share another memorable evening of whiskey tasting and appreciation with all of you.

North of 7 is currently producing 5 types of Canadian Whiskey - a four grain bourbon style whisky, a traditional bourbon mash consisting of corn-rye-barley, a 'wheater' made of corn-wheat-barley, a 95% rye-5% barley mash plus our used whisky barrels are being refilled with 100% malted barley for a 'scotch‍‍‍' style whis‍‍‍ky.
